Customer Focus

Social Responsibility

As a part of Compass Properties' portfolio, the CityCenter is owned and operated in accordance with our values. Integrity, Unity, Customer Focus, Responsiveness, Sustainability, Innovation, Diversity and Social Responsibility. These 8 Values form our “True North” approach to doing business. We empower our team to focus on "what we should do, not simply what we can do."

The place you locate your business should be as much of an asset to your business as the people, technology, and intelligence you use to run your business. We commit to using our resources fully to make sure that our tenants think of our building as an asset and not as overhead.

CityCenter's History

The CityCenter at 735 is a carefully restored historic building that is leading the commercial office space industry. The registered, 100+ year old CityCenter at 735 has maintained all of its historic elements while also earning LEED EB-OM Silver, Energy Star, BOMA 360 and the International Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) award from BOMA International.

The landmark, designed by world famous Chicago Architect, Daniel Burnham and his firm, began construction on the building in 1912 and finished in 1914, as the Headquarters for First National Bank of Wisconsin. All of the original elements and character have been carefully maintained,
including a complete, historic restoration of the cornice in 2010. Together, the original 16 story, 300,000 sf. building and its 60,000 sf. 1959 Annex Building have a prominent location on Milwaukee's busiest street; at Water Street and Mason Street. The location is central to downtown, at the heart of the financial district, and only one block from the city's arts and entertainment district. The building is on the Riverwalk and operates its own, adjacent public park. The CityCenter's timeless beauty and constant innovation as a market leader has attracted professional firms to the building for 100 years. Recent innovations have led to an influx of new tenants pushing the occupancy of the building ABOVE the market's average.

Tenants enjoy the CityCenter's blend of historic elegance and modern innovations. The combination of history, prime location, technology, service, and amenities delivered in a passionate pursuit for customer satisfaction is what sets this historic building apart from even the newest of
office buildings. The CityCenter has led for 100 years and will continue to be a market leader for 100 more.
